Lisa Edelstein (born Lisa Edelstein) is an American actor best famous for her character House in the Fox Medical drama House. Growing up in Wayne with a strict Jewish tradition, she moved to New York City at the age of 18 to pursue studies in theater at Tisch School of Arts. Her performance quickly made her a part of the scene of clubs in New York. Her shows were so captivating that the local press took note.
